The Wisdom of the Ring: A Message from Spirit About Cycles, Breath and Perspective

During a recent mediumship session with a friend, her mother stepped forward with a message so elegant and symbolic that I felt called to share it.
It began with something simple, a ring, yet unfolded into a profound teaching on life, energy and perspective.
A Ring Passed Through Generations
She showed me a ring that had travelled through the family line, passed from hand to hand, story to story.
A ring may seem like a small object, but in Spirit’s view, it becomes a container of memories, a keeper of lineage, love and continuity.
It symbolises what is carried forward and what is ready to be released.
The Geometry of a Circle
She drew my attention to the ring’s shape, a perfect circle.
One of the strongest geometric forms in nature.
A circle has no beginning and no ending, mirroring the ongoing cycle of life, relationships and the soul’s evolution.
She made me realise that when you stand in the centre of your circle, you only see one segment of the story.
But when you rise into the observer’s perspective, the entire pattern becomes clear.
Her message was a reminder that we often view life through a single angle or chapter.
Yet the deeper truth of who we are, and why things unfold as they do, becomes clearer when we lift our awareness beyond the moment.
Rising from the Centre
She showed how we can stand inside the circle, feeling the emotions and living the experience. Or we can shift slightly higher, into awareness and presence, and suddenly the entire wheel of the story becomes visible.
This is the power of perspective.
This is the essence of healing.
Not escaping the circle, but rising within it.
The Circle Expands with the Breath of Life
Next, she connected the ring to the breath.
With every inhale, the circle expands, stretching wider, creating space and softening edges.
With every exhale, it returns to centre, grounding, integrating and restoring.
She called this the rhythm of life, the natural ebb and flow, the contraction and expansion, the endings and beginnings that continuously weave our story.
Healing, she reminded us, happens through rhythm, not force.
Energy Centres in Harmony
Finally, she brought forward the image of the body’s energy centres, each one pulsing, breathing and moving in its own circular rhythm. When one centre contracts, another expands. When one dims, others compensate.
She made me realise that
Balance is not a fixed point.
It is a dance, a gentle returning.
Just like the ring, our energy is always moving, always recalibrating, always finding its way back to harmony.
The Deeper Meaning
This message stayed with me long after the session ended.
A ring...
A circle...
A breath...
A rhythm...
A lineage...
All simple symbols, yet deeply intertwined.
Her mother’s message was a reminder that
✨ We are part of a greater cycle
✨ We can rise above our stories and see them more clearly
✨ Our breath mirrors the universe’s own pattern
✨ Healing is a rhythmic, living process
✨ The wisdom of those before us lives on and can guide us if we are willing to listen
